I reset the lifetime summary when I picked up the vehicle at 4.7 miles. We have driven under 2 miles on the engine and now have a total of 5000 EV miles.
We still have a full tank of premium gasoline from our dealer from time of delivery April 2nd 2013.
Regen miles should show 797.1 miles, see my picture history.

I get the nice numbers on your EV range but what's it worth? not running the engine at all is not a good thing. It needs to be lubed and run to most efficient. Why didn't you just buy an all EV car if your not going to use the hybrid part? Your going to have a brand new engine that wont be worth anything because it just sat in the car. Great Job on the EV scores but it will cost you in the end if you actually don't use the engine.

Thanks, I am glad you appreciate the EV scores.
The ICE was designed to engage when they system needs it, and I am sure Ford knew there would be people like myself who would try to drive on EV as much as possible.
We looked at all the EV's available in our area and they were either to small or not in the price range we wanted to spend. The Fusion Energi was the biggest, safest, and roomiest vehicle in our area with a plug. We are a large family and needed the increased interior space and no other vehicle in the price range offered this.
Our next vehicle will be a BEV and this will make the Energi our trip vehicle or range extender vehicle. Without DC quick charging available everywhere yet, we decided to get our PHEV first. The Energi replaced a small Honda Civic Hybrid which I purchased new in 2004, and the BEV will replace our 2007 Camry Hybrid.
The more we use the battery the more cash we save not having to use gasoline, which saves time not having to stop at gas stops and wait in line.
We try to drive efficiently and this is why we now have an life summary of 136MPGe.
I would have liked a fusion in all EV, but they just don't make it. For a short while we were sold on the Tesla model S, and almost put down the money to make the order. After much thought we decided to stick to our original price range and the 40kw Tesla was no longer available.
We have been in a couple of accidents and since the Fusion has an ICE, I kind of like the idea of having it in front of me for a little more protection. Safety was one of our decisions for purchasing the Energi.
We are so happy with the Energi I am glad we reconsidered.
We all purchase vehicles for various reasons, the Energi was just the closest to what we were looking for.
